Cars and Trucks play a major role in American society. Not only do they serve as a means to get people from one location to another, they often come to represent an extension of one's personality. In fact, car manufacturers rely upon this emotional connection in order to sell more vehicles with more options. But, it is not just the car manufacturers. Cars and trucks feature in a wide range of advertising of products. Many times these products have nothing to do with selling a vehicle.
Hot Sam's has a large collection of vehicles ranging from fire trucks to race cars.
During this workshop, the following topics will be covered:
Working with different focal lengths and angles.
Managing the background.
Understanding lighting including methods for adding light.
Capturing images of signs and automotive products.
Photographing people with cars.
Using automotive related subjects to tell a story.
