Photographing flowers with a telephoto lens

Next time you head out to photograph some flowers, consider taking along a telephoto zoom lens. In this video, I show how I use a 70-200mm zoom to take photos of flowers. Using a telephoto lens allows for additional flexibility that you may not have with a macro lens. That isn't to say that you should not use a macro lens. Using a telephoto gives you one more tool to help capture some amazing photos.
