Focus Stacking: Valentines Day Edition

Depth of field can be a challenge if subjects are close to the camera, or we are using a large aperture or long focal length. In this class you will learn how to easily combine multiple shots to maximize the area of the photo that is in focus.

Centennial Community Education
Join us as we photograph historic Stillwater Minnesota after dark. Mid-week is the perfect time to photograph these historic locations. Don will provide tips on working in low light, and composition.

As we get into late winter, the activity around bird feeders begins to increase. In this free class, I will provide some tips for getting great shots of birds. This will be followed by spending some time out by the feeders.

Timing is everything when it comes to photographing spring ephemerals. Before the trees leaf out, the forest floors are covered with small colorful flowers. During this class, I will discuss techniques for photographing these spring beauties.

Gain special access to the Tropics Trail at the Minnesota Zoo. The Tropics Trail allows you to get relatively close to the birds and animals, but there are some challenges. During this program, we will provide some suggestions to help you capture some amazing photos.
