Photographing Details at Historic Forestville State Park in Minnesota

In this video, I discuss my approach to getting detail shots in a restored historic area in Minnesota. I start with an idea in mind prior to arriving on the site, and then work on trying to find subjects that work with that idea.

This trip was part of an activity I hosted for the Minnesota Valley Photography Club. In the video I refer to the program as The Photographer's Playground. It was actually part of the Road Trippin! program. The only difference between the two is the distance from where the club meets.
