Photographing a Historic River Town along the Mississippi River

In this video, I photograph the area around East 2nd Street in Hastings Minnesota. Hastings is a historic river town that has managed to save many of the old buildings in the downtown area. Many of these buildings date back to the late 1800s.

As part of a program called The Photographer's Playground, I attempt to do some architectural photography. The video contains a slide show of some of my favorite photos from the evening.

The weather was rather interesting and we did have a nasty thunderstorm while we were out, but patiently waiting out the storm allowed me to get some really nice photos.
