My approach to photographing Iceland's Glacier Lagoon

In this short video, I discuss how I photographed the Glacier Lagoon in Iceland. Glacier Lagoon can seem overwhelming at first. There is quite a bit happening and the icebergs are in constant motion.

The first challenge is how do you pick a subject to photograph? My approach is to look for something of interest even if it is not perfect. After taking some shots, I look to see how it can be improved, and continue to refine from there.

For the Glacier Lagoon, I started with some colorful blue ice and some interesting shapes. I then looked to give a better sense of place place and depth. Finally, I looked for ways to add some scale.
