How to Photograph Toys in Natural Settings

In this video, I share my approach towards photographing toys in nature using a techniques called forced perspective.

This can be a great way to look at natural settings a bit differently which will lead to overall improvements in how you see things around you.

I first tried this about one year ago after a friend of mine had posted some toy photos that she took. It looked like it would be a lot of fun. I ordered a few toys online and headed off to the woods and experimented. There were some good results and some terrible results. The important thing is that it made me really think about who my lenses function and the effects of distortion.
